Ahhh phone cases! Who doesn’t love receiving a gift that’s personal and so useful to them? We all know how essential phone cases are to us since they practically keep them from falling and crumbling to pieces. The best thing about a phone case to me is picking one that I love.

What is ZIRA Cases?
ZIRA Cases is a phone accessories brand founded by two women of West African and Caribbean descent, based in the USA and Canada. It is a representation of self-expression, empowerment for women, and appreciation for Afro-culture. Their mission states,
" We noticed a lack of representation of our culture and its essence in mainstream tech brands. ZIRA has a vision to become a community for creativity and self-expression, and to connect the African and Caribbean diasporas, Afro-descendants and lovers of our original culture. Each one of our phone cases inspires the wearer to be bold, confident and proud of their roots. "
ZIRA Cases Products
ZIRA offers a collection of culturally inspired phone cases. They visually express and creatively design rich, colorful and resilient history of African ancestors. They have two collections featured on their site.
The first collection is their Kente Collection which specializes in Tough Cases and Snap cases.
The second collection is the ZIRA Cases x Art Baobab which is a collaboration that ZIRA has recently done with @art.baobab which is founded by Aurélie Kadjo. One phone case that really stands out is the ' Lizzo ' case. ZIRA explains that is this case is about all about body positivity.
"Lizzo dressed in African traditional clothing was made to expose the contrast between these two world views! This is one small way in which we can start to rewrite the narrative. To do the work to empower Black women of all sizes so that their voices can be heard. "

My Review:
Based off of the reviews and content that ZIRA Cases displays, I think that it is a very empowering brand that focuses on the richness and beauty of African and Caribbean cultures. What's even more special about this is that the founders are descendants of these ancestors and with everything that has happened in the past year with racial injustice and equality, it's very good way for black women to express who they truly are and be proud of it! Who we are matters and our culture matters, so it's time that the world sees it too.
If you are someone who is very deeply rooted in the appreciation of black culture and black women then I would definitely ( 10/10 ) recommend these products. ZIRA Cases truly are a artistic, one of a kind brand that values creativity and self-expression.
