If you’re anything like me, you probably kick yourself harder on the rougher days— which is stupid to be fair because you’re already feeling shitty and your inner dialogue can go from 0-100 real quick (and not in a positive way either).


So, what do I do to reboot my inner dialogue and shift my mindset when I’m having a bad day?

WHAT IS AN AFFIRMATION?



Affirmations are positive statements that are used to help you and challenge you to overcome self-sabotaging thoughts and negative self-talk. Just as you do repetitive exercises for your physical health, affirmations are like a repetitive exercise for your mental health. When repeated, positive affirmations have the capacity to reprogram your thinking patterns, so that eventually, you begin to think (and therefore act) differently.


Any area of your life you want to see positive change, you can use positive affirmations. From confidence, to overcoming fears, to improving self esteem or overcoming unhealthy habits. In todays case- the affirmations I were looking for are more generalized and lean more to generic self-love.

The power lies within repeating your chosen affirmations regularly, several times a day would be idea.
